It's been nearly 4 years since the starters of the Avoris Region were revealed. Taramby, Scorxio, and Ekino were revealed to be the starters of my third generation dex, taking place in the Avoris Region.

Now after several years, meet their evolved forms:

• Rambliss, the Ram Pokémon

• Toxiscore, the Toxic Claws Pokémon

• Wizquid, the Novice Pokémon

Rambliss, The Ram Pokémon

Rambliss emanates an aroma that purifies the air and their surroundings. They release spores when in a blissful state, spreading happy vibes to those nearby.

They like to keep their habitats clean and tidy. The flowers they grow produce a sweet aroma that calms people, which is why these Pokémon are popular in yoga and meditation. It is said to also purify and ward off any evil energy.

Toxiscore, The Toxic Claws Pokémon

They secrete venom from their sharp claws and tail. The flames they emit may also contain toxins. Being a combination of fire and poison proves them to be a deadly weapon, as their attacks can leave severe toxic burns.

Toxiscore are known to harbor resentment toward people who mistreat them. As it grows more rage, so does the heat of their fire. These Pokémon are cunning and sly, strategizing their attacks in advance.

Wizquid, The Novice Pokémon

They mastered their skills after daily training, resulting in this evolution. They continue to perfect their water magic until they are ready to evolve again.

Wizquid remain loyal to their trainers and will do anything to not fail them. They train all day to impress people with their skills using water and magic.

Years In The Making

The evolutions to the Avoris Starters have been a long time coming and many were waiting to see them. Even when the Avoris Starters were very early in development, years before their reveal, I've played around with their evolution line many times. I was pretty solid in their general concepts, just not their designs themselves.

After the reveal of the starters, I continued to work more on their evolution lines. I was also pretty busy with other work so I didn't get to work on them as much as I wanted to. At one point, I was kinda liking where their designs were going but I wasn't fully feeling them. For me, I do not want to put something out that I'm not happy with. My design style has evolved throughout the years. That's why looking back at my first dex, I wanted to redesign most of it. But I know many have preferred the first versions of some fakemon that I redesigned. That's why I want to make sure I need to be satisfied with the new designs I upload.

It was only until recently where I was confident in the direction of the concept and evolution. So I am happy these evolutions were now revealed. I promise their final evolutions won't take years this time :)

unfortunately, our dog has left us. we thought she was improving but sadly these medications we not enough to save her... i will miss her so so so much. i will miss taking her on our morning walks, i'll miss when she gets so excited to see me when i come home, i'll miss her being playful, i'll miss everything about her. she's no longer suffering from pain. we are so deeply saddened and we love her very much. she'll live on in our hearts and memories ♥
